We take reasonable care to ensure the information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, website content is general information only and may not be complete. We may change the website, including these Terms, at any time without notice.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your devices or systems from using this website or linked websites, except where required by law, including in cases of negligence or wilful misconduct. You are responsible for taking your own precautions to protect your device, including from viruses or malware.

2) Booking & Purchase Terms

These terms apply when you book or buy from Dreams Beauty Therapy online, by phone, or in person.

2.1 Bookings

• When you book, you must provide accurate and current contact information so we can confirm your appointment and contact you if needed.
• Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Dreams Beauty Therapy.
• If we cannot provide your booked service at the booked time, we will offer an alternative time.
• If we cannot find a suitable alternative, you may cancel and receive a full refund of any prepaid amount for that booking.

2.2 Telephone bookings and call recordings

If you book by phone, your call may be recorded for training and quality purposes. We will tell you if recording applies. By continuing the call, you consent to the recording being used for those purposes.

2.3 Payments

Unless otherwise stated, payment is due at the time of the appointment. We may require a deposit to secure bookings, especially for longer services or high-demand times.

3) Cancellations, Rescheduling, Late Arrivals & No-Shows

3.1 Cancellation and rescheduling policy

We understand life happens. We just ask for fair notice so we can offer the spot to someone else.

• More than 24 hours’ notice: no fee.
• Within 24 hours: may incur a fee of up to 50% of the booked treatment value.
• No-show: may be charged 100% of the booked treatment value.

If you have repeated late cancellations or no-shows, we may require future appointments to be prepaid in full.

3.2 Late arrivals

If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened to avoid impacting other clients. If there is not enough time to complete the service, it may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.

3.3 How to cancel or reschedule

Please contact us as early as possible via your booking confirmation message, phone, WhatsApp or email.

4) Refund Policy

4.1 Services

Because services are time-based and delivered live, we do not offer refunds for completed treatments, except where required by law.

4.2 Prepaid services, packages and deposits

• Prepaid treatments and packages are generally non-refundable, but may be transferred or rescheduled at our discretion and in line with the cancellation policy above.
• Deposits may be forfeited if you cancel late or do not attend, depending on the booking type and notice given.
• If we cancel your appointment and cannot offer a suitable alternative, you are entitled to a full refund of any prepaid amount for that booking.

4.3 Retail products

If you purchase retail products from us, you are entitled to remedies under the Consumer Guarantees Act, for example if the item is faulty. Change-of-mind returns are not required by law, but we may offer an exchange at our discretion for unused and unopened products only.

4.4 Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.

5) Promotions and Special Offers

Some services, campaigns, promotions or contests may have additional terms (“Promo Terms”). If Promo Terms apply, they will be provided with the promotion. If there is a conflict, the Promo Terms will apply for that promotion.

We reserve the right to update, pause or withdraw promotions at any time, subject to applicable law.

6) 50% Off First Facial Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

• Valid for new clients only.
• Applies to one eligible facial treatment only per person.
• Not valid for all treatments, all facials, packages, gift cards, retail products, add-ons or other promotions unless we state otherwise.

How it works

• The discount applies to one eligible first facial session.
• The discount cannot be split across multiple treatments or sessions.
• The offer is subject to appointment availability and confirmation by Dreams Beauty Therapy.

Booking window

• The offer is valid for 7 days from sign-up unless stated otherwise.
• To secure the offer, the booking must be confirmed and any required deposit paid within that 7-day window.
• Your appointment date can be after the 7-day period, subject to availability.

Cancellations and no-shows

• To keep the offer, cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of the promotion.

7) Before & After / Testimonials Consent

If you provide photos, videos, audio or written testimonials (“Material”) for marketing or educational content, you will be asked to sign a separate consent form.

By signing that form, you agree we can use the Material for promotional and informational purposes, including online. You understand the Material may be edited, cropped, combined or collaged. You also release Dreams Beauty Therapy from claims relating to the agreed use of the Material, to the extent permitted by law.

8) Gift Cards Terms & Conditions

8.1 General

By purchasing or using a Dreams Beauty Therapy gift card, you agree to these terms. Gift cards are issued in NZD and redeemable only at Dreams Beauty Therapy in Mount Eden, Auckland.

8.2 Use

• Gift cards can be used for services and products unless stated otherwise.
• Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded except as required by New Zealand law.
• If the purchase exceeds the gift card value, the difference must be paid at redemption.
• Multiple gift cards may be used in one transaction unless otherwise stated.

8.3 Expiry

Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.

8.4 Lost or stolen cards

Treat gift cards like cash. Lost, stolen or damaged gift cards may not be replaced or refunded.

8.5 Restrictions

• Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.
• Gift cards cannot be resold.
• Gift cards may be excluded from certain promotions unless we state otherwise.

8.6 Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The terms that apply are those in place at the time the gift card was purchased.
